I have never ever heard of a ministerial servant being used on a judicial commitee. Least not here in the good old US of A. Where are you getting this from?
Three is the magic number. Three elders are needed for the six-eyed numbers(apologies to all one-eyed elders).

in the information kit entitled jehovah's witnesses - guidelines for their non-blood medical management the chapter entitled "emergency protocol involving jehovah's witnesses" instructs all hospital doctors and nurses to check each casualty's wallet/purse for a blood card in case the patient is a jw.

for example, you are not told directly that you shouldn't read any other publication but the society's, but you are asked, "how could anyone spiritual ever have the time to keep up with their bible-based reading of all the spiritual food that we must take in, and still have time to read "worldly" books?

This is a brief account? I thought this was God's LAW for the nation of Israel. Is the law covenant in Deuteronomy an abridged version? Did God have a more detailed version, where he covered these other scenarios? Or have the brothers decided for themselves what God really meant? Either God's law covenant was inadequate, or we are missing part of it, or God just did not think it all through. hmmm.
Another thing, if a woman was out in a field and was raped even though she screamed, the accused rapist would be executed. Where are the two witnesses in this scenario??? How could a man be put to death in this kind of case?
i was browsing around the watchtower.org web site and happened across their stats.. i found the cayman islands to be of particular interest.... there is only one baptized publisher, yet there are two congregations with 169 peak witnesses, 114 average bible studies and 461 in memorial attendance.. i can't help but wonder how they pulled this off.

You are misreading the chart. They had one person baptised that year. It has nothing to do with the total number of dubs in the country.
seems that the page view out number the posters who actually reply to the thread.. my guess is that there's alot of active jws who are still active within' the so called "truth" are visiting this forum and reading all the threads.
i don't blame them for not wanting to reply for fear of being found out.. how many of you were still active when you found a forum like this one and lurked around for a long time?
how many of you left the organization as a result of reading this forum or other forums like it?.

welcome to the board. I noticed one point in your list of beliefs that I would beg to differ on:
Jesus return would be invisible.
They never taught that Jesus return was a future, invisible event. Russell first taught that Jesus would return in 1874. When this did not happen, he began claiming that Jesus had returned, but that his presence was invisible. Therefore, the Society has for most of its existence painted Jesus' return as an event that has already happened invisibly. For many years, the date given was 1874, then it was moved to 1914.
You also referred to the flood of Noah's day as proof that God would wipe out a world of wicked people. The only problem with this argument is that there is no evidence of a global flood, and much evidence that shows that it could not happen. It took me only an hour or two on the web to find overwhelming proof that the flood cannot be taken seriously.

Unfortunately for the Watchtower, they are not used to being forced to defend their actions. J.R. Brown does not seem to realize that just because a loyal witness will believe anything he says as if it came straight from heaven, a reporter will not. Of course, maybe that's why he is afraid to go on a live interview, he knows he would be nailed to the wall so fast.
Of course, they also have no idea how their statements are being documented and will come back to haunt them.
I really would like to know what they told the reporters that they invited inside the day of the Silentlambs march.
today i spoke with a former jw i've been in touch with for several years and discovered what i think could be a major bombshell for the wts.
as we all know, shunning is the most powerful weapon the wt cult has over its members and for decades the wts has been able to get away with practicing it at their whim.
the us and other courts have permitted them to to use it, even though it destroys families and has ruined countless lives.

It would be interesting to see the courts rule on JWs who refuse to allow DA or DF parents to visit their grandchildren.
I think that the Society is aware that some states have "grandparents rights" laws, and advise accordingly. Not to defend them, but I do know of one case where they advised a JW that refusing to allow visitation could cause legal repercussions.

The last straw was the UN membership. Proved to me that the Org was not misguided, not simply incorrect, but purposefully deceptive.
